About the Founder, Andrew Barnett
Andrew Barnett, a native Floridian, has an extensive entrepreneurial background that spans multiple industries. As a successful and resourceful innovator, Barnett worked with the Institute for Strategic Leadership Studies as a Web Science Fellow as well as a trainer, coach, and facilitator. He also worked for a period of time as an Apple RMA Engineer, where he was responsible for creating and implementing tamper proof stickers at Apple to prevent unauthorized opening of warranty units. As an inventor and eventual president of the computer company Instead, Barnett created a fully functional Macintosh and a PC in one unit after moving on from his position at Apple.
Shortly after, he helped develop software for data recovery on SCSI devices called CPR Tools. Andrew Barnett later became the vice president of Laser Disc systems; developed key components for first Compact Disc Standards and including holographic printing techniques. In his later career, he was the instructor and consultant with government officials in El Salvador, Costa Rica, Barbados, and the Bahamas on computer software and hardware under government contract.
Andrew Barnett also served in developing procedures in production workflow for Reader’s Digest at Vistacolor’s Miami and Puerto Rico facilities. Additionally, he trained staff and helped setup state-of-the-art Scitex color digitizing equipment. In 1999, Andrew Barnett became the vice president of Dollarsignz, a full service printing and sign business for indoor and outdoor large building signs. The company also manufactured trade show specialization projects. In 2007, Andrew Barnett assisted McDermit Colorspan (HP) test biodegradable inks in UV printing. He is now considered an expert in data recovery on all utilized operating systems because of his experience, and also an expert in data manipulation and data mining techniques
Currently, Andrew Barnett owns and manages Andrew Barnett Mergers and Acquisitions in Fort Lauderdale. Whenever he has a free moment, he’s either spending time with his family and friends or heading to Colorado for time on the ski slopes.
